Horisont

The stoneware clay sculpture depicts a hand pointing towardsa distant horizon. The sculpture includes a mirror that reflects the hand andthe horizon in reverse. Perhapsthe reverse image in the mirror can encourage to contemplate the concept of perspectiveand how our perception of reality is influenced by our own history and experiences.

The sculpture is part of an installation where each work reflects on the human body, shifts in scale and thoughts about the body which, on an inflated scale, could be a landscape to explore. An organic material in constant change.
