Landhöjning

approx 25x20 cm
Stoneware clay and plywood

The stoneware clay sculpture depicts the lower part of a human face. The face is mounted on a wooden object as composed together resembles a mountain peak. The mouth is open, reaching up towards the sky, perhaps it represents an exhalation in pleasure and stillness.

The sculpture is part of an installation where each work reflects on the human body, shifts in scale and thoughts about the body which, on an inflated scale, could be a landscape to explore. An organic material in constant change.
